At its core, SubBase enhances procurement processes across all verticals in the construction industry. Although relatively new to the SAAS space, the company boasts extensive experience in construction and has built strong relationships, allowing for seamless integration of its app into popular construction tools. With SubBase, customers can now manage complex construction supply chains with unprecedented ease and efficiency. Despite only being in business for a year, Subbase was ready to expand its reach and sought to establish itself as the go-to choice for procurement in the construction industry.

As SubBase entered its next phase of growth, there was a pressing need to reinforce its brand identity. In addition, key product benefits and features were not being conveyed clearly enough. It was paramount that we communicate SubBase's approachability, attention to detail, and establish a brand personality that would reassure customers that the company understood the construction industry and was there to help.

The KISSLabs team conducted a number of in-depth video calls where we learnt as much about the company and the product as possible, as well as recording walkthroughs for various audience types.  It was from these deep-dive sessions that formed the basis of the enhanced brand attributes. We expanded their colour palette, developed audience-specific messaging, included spot illustrations, created UI illustrations, designed custom interfaces, produced motion graphics and animations, and even created an unofficial ambassador, who we affectionately named "Subbie". With all this work done a new website was written, wire-framed, and built in record time. We are continuing to work closely with their team to help them achieve their goals for year ahead.
